This program will host a reception for skippers and crew to connect in April - find your boat this season!
A Restricted Operator’s Certificate – Maritime (ROC-M) is required for all boaters intending to use a VHF radio. Earn your certificate on Saturday April 1st in the City Clubhouse. This one-day course will provide you with important knowledge for emergencies, proper procedural words and phrases, and includes practice with digital calling.

As a result of the successful participation in 2014, 2015 and 2016, Commodore Chris Mitchele would like to invite two person teams from the Lake Ontario area sailing clubs to participate in our fouth one-day regatta to be sailed in Ideal 18s in Toronto Bay. The club has a fleet of 12 Ideal 18s, and we hope that 11 teams from clubs in the surrounding area will participate. The RCYC will have one team. It is our aim to encourage small boat racing at close quarters with multiple races in the shifty wind conditions that can exist in Toronto.
This regatta is open to skippers and crew teams from the Toronto area and Greak Lakes sailing clubs. Crews should be familiar with handling spinnakers.
